is it as woke as people say?

Going of memory...I don't think it was that 'woke', certainly no where near the worst offender. But it's not a good film in any case. Just okay.

Well John Connor is killed off and replaced by a small Latina girl, Sarah Connor whines that nobody cared about her except her “womb” and there’s a line that goes “you are not just the mother of some MAN who saves the future”

still haven't watched it. probably not gonna ever, judging from comments. it's kinda sad, that they keep pumping out these films, even though nothing will ever top or even come close to Judgement Day

Acceptable woke but lacking Asians, short people, Trans & Gay cast. However it had a diverse crew and female leads. I would love to see more Mexicans in American productions. Preferably as victims.

Its woke. There is an obvious dig at Trump while the character who makes the comment is being glaringly hypocritical but the movie suffers mainly because the characters are poorly written. Mackenzie Davis as Grace has been unfairly criticized, she has the most character development and is at least pleasant to look at. One of the main problems is Dani, she is so poorly written and generic that I found myself apathetic to her and her plight. Sarah Connor is also annoying and comes across as whiny. The special effects are also very video-game like, and jarring, which elevates T2 so much higher when it came out 28 years earlier. In the grand scheme of things, the movie´s wokeness is actually one of its lesser problems.
