*spoilers* disappointing

omg they screwed this up so bad...I avoided trailers to give it a chance but the best bits were the intro from T2 and the endos emerging from the sea with the 80s style sound effects. Who wanted no skynet, no John connor and an old married t800! the plot is just filled with terrible choices like why didn't Arnold just be the actual human template instead of a slightly less cringey version of the genisys t800? The worst part is that it's a poor copy of what's gone before (as usual). Dani is no way convincing as a John connor replacement, grace is ok..ish but obviously supposed to be a female Kyle Reese replacement. The new terminator is still less menacing than the t-1000. Its yet another opportunity wasted, it could've been halfway good if it had gone for a smaller budget claustrophobic horror vibe or gone all out future war 80s style. There was no tension in any of the scenes, the t800 aka Carl (wtf) dying (again) had no emotional weight which cant be bettered by T2 anyway. by the end I was just hoping that the 'shadow'/noob saibot terminator survived and would terminate everyone, well, except Linda Hamilton, she still rocks :).
