Seriously. We get another 'Don't worry guys, we're going to do it properly this time. Ignore the other times we said this and the shitty films we churned out' and the first image they release is that...Some random chick. Weird looking dude/girl in middle. Hamilton with short hair that looks terrible. No sign of Arnie, you know, THE Terminator...

Just seems to be jumping on the feminist bandwagon...

How hard is it to make a film about killer fucking robots without muddying the water with all this SJW shit. Not very difficult.

Just by looking at the title thread alone, I instantly knew the terms “SJW”, “feminists”, or of course politically correct would be seen in this thread. You know, the usual crap spewed on this site and everywhere else on the web (I’d be a goddamn multi-millionaire by now for every time I accurately predicted this stuff.)

Whew, you back-in-the-good-ol’-days crowd are as predictable as nearly every new Hollywood release supposedly promoting “anti-white” propaganda. If the criticism starts off somewhat reasonable, it then of course takes its natural course and goes full rat-publican. As if the many other pissy threads on here haven’t express the same butthurt feelings as you. But I get it, you ass-spanked man babies need to vent because of what evil libtard Hollywood is doing! Man, their actions are causing serious harm to this country. Just who do they think they are? Those heartless vermins currently in the White House or something? Tisk, tisk...

I agree that this SJW stuff is getting out of hand but people commenting on it is a symptom and not the cause.

If proper thinking and actions can come back into play then perhaps I'll treat people as adults instead of the whining children they are proving themselves to be Nico.

Lestwise get the X on the train and gas them quickly before sanity purges this stupidity!

Drac, I'm not really sure why you'd support the promo pic. If you're a "fan" of The Terminator (especially, James Cameron's Terminator), there are two VERY important characters missing in that promo pic, and they're replaced by two "who are they, and why should I care" characters.

The Terminator is a series that has been on a steep decline in recent years, and desperately needs to get viewers/fans back on the wagon. Personally, this isn't like Star Wars, and I'm curious about these characters - although SW is trying its darnedest to reach the lows of The Terminator. This is a franchise that has to earn the love back.

The promo pic could have been all dudes, and I would have been just as annoyed if John Conner and Arnie weren't amongst them. The promo pic just desperately screams "girl power", which is weird, because Linda Hamilton is all the girl power you need. Sarah Conner is ballsier than most men. Hell, she killed Arnie in the first movie!

TBH, the promo pic would have been a thousand times better if it had only been Linda Hamilton standing alone with a shotgun, perched on a hill of terminator skulls. You wouldn't be hearing SJW bullshit then. It would be the kind of image that would be getting me hyped for this movie, because I want to see this woman kick some ass. She doesn't need a man's help ;)

You can disagree with my opinion if you like but me and the other hundreds of millions of movie goers just want to watch good films with zero agendas.

If you think films such as The Terminator should be used as yet another political/social soapbox, that's great. But you're in the minority.

There is a time and a place for such commentaries and the Terminator franchise is simply not it. End of.
