I'm officially expecting The Suicide Squad to be a top 5 comic book movie ever

With as much as I love James Gunn...

As much as I love Guardians of the Galaxy part one

as much as I've loved the trailers for the Suicide Squad

and now with the absolutely overwhelmingly positive great reviews.

I truly expect the Suicide Squad to be a top 5 comic book movie of all time

the reviews and reactions for this movie is unlike anything I've seen since the first Avengers in 2012 the way they are so overwhelmingly positive and praising

my top 10 comic book movies are-

1. The Avengers
1. Logan
1. The Dark Knight

^ 3 way tie for #1

4. Joker
5. Captain America The Winter Soldier
6. Avengers Infinity War
7. Captain America Civil War
8. Avengers Endgame
9. Guardians of the Galaxy
10. Deadpool

I now believe The Suicide Squad will take the place of one of these films or at least I'm hoping

anyone else's expectations through the roof now?

That's a great top 10 by the way, even though I find Guardians just a tad overrated but still, great list. My personal top 10 are...

It will be better than Joker. And really Doctor Strange is better than Deadpool.

I live in the UK so I’ve seen the movie already and for me it really is one of the best comic book movies ever made.

I’d rank Guardians of the Galaxy higher than you though (probably in my top 5) and I’d say The Suicide Squad is about on par with it in terms of laughs. The Suicide Squad has the violence though whereas Guardians has the heart so both movies feel very different and unique.
