Technically in 2024 Logan is still alive so did Deadpool went into the future to dig up his corpse?

Continuity was always screwy in the X-Men movies. Just happens to many franchises after a while. Halloween, Texas Chain Saw. It's not meant to be scrutinized that closely and seriously. That's why they give themselves the out of multiple timelines. Yeah I know that's lame, but how it is. Roll with it and enjoy.

The Deadpool movies are cartoonish, and the main character breaks the 4th wall often. Logan in the movie dies in the distant future, but in this movie, they make it seem as if he died in 2017, the year of that movie’s release. It’s probably just another form of breaking the 4th wall . Just roll with it, as stated
