About a year ago I think I recall briefly reading a rumour from one of those we got this covered/giant robot bs news sites that scott would appear as a Logan variant and I guess maybe that was legit considered before either he said no (bc basically jackman had his career) or Ryan/director figured it'd be too deep a deepcut and Cavill would be a much bigger surprise/more fun (esp with the DCEU thing)
