... active. I imagine after the show debuts tonight, it will be. If it gets enough traffic pertinent to the topic, I just hope it won't be overrun by brain-dead Scientologists and all around trolls like what happened on the "Going Clear" board last year.
Anybody watching this? Or if you see this later tonight, did you watch?
Did anyone else have difficulty trying to dvr the show? I couldn't get the series to record on my tv then it was set to record but didn't tape. I had to try recording it on another dvr box but was struggling to get it to record the series..had to set it to record several times & it finally worked. My mom joked that maybe scientologists are messing with the dvr..hey you never know I live near Clearwater lol. Finally got to see it though and I'm really glad Leah quit this cult! Glad she is sharing her story with the world
Funny you mention that you had a problem with your dvr trying to record the program; I used to work in downtown Clearwater at a Scientologist - owned salon with a clientele made up of 99.9% Scienos for several years and was pregnant with my first child while employed there. At my baby shower, my boss gave me a dvd entitled "Scientology Baby" (I was not a church member, but got on exceptionally well with my boss) and my husband and I joked that there's probably some kind of transmitter in the dvd. Turns out when I had the courage to watch it (just for kicks and giggles), I couldn't get the damn thing to work! Weird lettering always came up on screen and it would switch off randomly, and I swear I thought it was because I didn't become a member! Kind of goes to show how paranoid one becomes after being around them for a few years; they're a very paranoid group themselves, but the power they displayed over many things and occasions made me think they could be capable of altering a dvd, which is just nuts, but I wouldn't put it past them, just like *possibly* having power over the cable company in your area! ;)
