At the very least, what "defectors" have claimed is abuse of every kind. That alone should be grounds for massive search warrants and potential perps hauled in for questioning.

As for that little man of a leader, I'd take my hand and rip out his wind pipe. Someday, people are going to get real tired of mounting evidence of mafia-like crimes against innocent people born into this sick cult/crime syndicate and seeing NO law enforcement doing jack and start fire bombing the precious palace of cruelty and brutality.

... wow.. after seeing all this political crap... I just wanted to remind everyone that Scientology is a cult... Just look at how the cult ACTUALLY got its tax exemption.. thats why the feds dont get involved... in my opinion.. that.. and they hide under the first amendment... for now...

It isn't the first amendment which helps them, it is the bribery and coercion. A lot of smaller churches lose their tax exempt status because they don't meet the requirements. The COS just had the money to bribe enough people to get the tax exempt status.

Oh, i know... all the crap they pulled with the IRS should be reason enough to get the feds involved... i threw in the first amendment at the end because the cult always uses that to the public saying their rights are being violated... but it's mainly that the feds don't really want to deal with the cult's attacks... for now... theres a certain point where its going to get out of control and then they will be forced to do something...

I agree. It will take someone getting hurt or killed while trying to escape or them finding the COS hiding money for them to tear it down.

I wonder that too. I know they are classified as a religion, and that people make their own decisions about things, but families ripped apart, beaten, imprisoned, following people, wiretap people and dont forget about bullying the IRS... And all this under the governments nose. If you shoplift a candy bar the cops are the instantly, but doing the above after you created your own church and "religion" = all good!

Im a bit stunned that we never heard about people being after Mr Miscarriage. Thought someone would attempt to break that guys neck by now.

Leah and co. are very good to do this though. She's a tough cookie and i like her and Mike for what they are doing. Hopefully IRS takes the exempt back.
