This movie just flat out sucked in the second half (spoilers)

The first half the quintessential John Wick lots of killing, great fights on horseback and motorcycles, awesome killing moves the knife fight was amazing. The two dogs were a nice touch, Halle Berry wasn't half bad, but then it ground to a screeching halt in the last 30-45 minutes of the movie with fights that took WAY longer than they should have, the stupid pilgrimage to the desert, and might I add NO ONE FALLS FROM THAT FAR AND LIVES OR DOESN'T AT LEAST END UP A VEGETABLE.

All they did was create this movie to milk it for a fourth one, I was expecting the entire move John to go and take out the members of the table and become the leader and populate the taken spots with Sofia, Winston, the Bowery King, and Charon....but NOOOO gotta hint at it right at the end so they can make a fourth one.

I fell asleep twice during the final two fights.

First half of the movie 8.0, Second half 5.0.

I'm with you. The second half dragged on way too long. If it wasn't over-long fights the rest seems like they were more interested in world building for a 4th movie and that TV show that's in development.

The first movie was perfect, these sequels are too much.

I agree that the second half dragged a bit. I felt like it should have been about 15 min shorter. The fact that John Wick is still alive by the end of this movie, especially after the last one, it really wasn't much of a surprise that he survived the fall. I thought that part of the film was kind of corny. I completely agree that they are trying to milk it for a fourth and I thought they had a chance to wrap up John's story at the end there; either making him the manager or giving him an out again and then continuing the series with a different character. This would allow Wick to appear with cameos every once in a while or play a minor role.

Definitely. But what I found completely absurd - it actually almost pissed me off - was that the movie basically goes nowhere. The entire events of the movie could have been skipped and John Wick would be in the exact same situation. He is still excommunicado, Winston manages the Continental, the new dog is still there, and nothing has changed in the world - they are all still after John Wick for a price tag, because he dishonored the one shot the Arab dude gave him to live again, which he threw away without batting an eye.

So basically John Wick 4 will begin just like John Wick 3 - the whole world against him alone. From now on, the only result is that the entire Assassin's Guild lies dead.

yeah it really make him look bad since he is the one that seek out the elder and beg for a second chance, I would have like it better if its the other way round that he is offered the chance for redemption but decided not to go thru the task at the last minute.

I disagree, this entire film kicked ass. "NO ONE FALLS FROM THAT FAR AND LIVES OR DOESN'T AT LEAST END UP A VEGETABLE." …yes in real life but this is an over the top action film.... you actually expected this to be realistic lol?! Most of the stuff in these films couldn't happen in real life to begin with so what's your point? The fights being long is what made this awesome and bat shit crazy, what's there not to like? There wasn't enough running time for Wick to take out the entire Table clan without it feeling rushed or cheap, I'm glad they're taking their time and fleshing it out for more films.... what's wrong with that? It just means more for us!
