It probably is something to do with "empowerment" or some such nonsense. Remember a while back when James Cameron criticized Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman for being sexist because she was to "traditionally feminine"? He must think the only way to have a strong female character is by making her indistinguishable from a man.
1. Why did Lockhart keep seeing/halucinating eels (in the iso tank, the toilet etc.)?
A: Whatever was in the water that made the eels live a long time made people sick and likely caused hallucinations.
2. Why did eels appear when Hannah got her period in the pool?
A: The blood. The eat people, they were attracted to the blood.
3. Why did he make Lockhart swallow the eels? ANd how did he live after that??
A: Filtering the eels through a human body is how they made the "vitamins". Not sure how that works, your guess is as good as mine.
You're right, you do. I noticed that when watching the Blu-Ray.
A cliched plot is a wonderful thing when it's executed this well.
They mention Kong and Skull Island several times, but youre right, I'm surprised we didn't actually see the big guy. I did read that the black scientist guy that we see checking out Mothra is supposed to be the same character from Kong, so there's that.
This is awesome, thanks.
I'm with you. The second half dragged on way too long. If it wasn't over-long fights the rest seems like they were more interested in world building for a 4th movie and that TV show that's in development.
The first movie was perfect, these sequels are too much.
