I don't know why, but it just annoys me. The show is relatively serious in tone, but the them song seems like a parody.

It's the same from from the original show back in the 70s. That's probably why.

I do realise that, I just think that it's cheesy compared to the tone of the show.

Lol. Maybe I was just grumpy when I wrote the post. Who knows, had they modernised it, I might have complained about that too. :)

I saw the original, so if they had changed the song I would have complained. "That's not SWAT's theme song!" It would have been like Hawaii 5-0 with a different song.

The promos always get me hyped! But when I tune in, meh. I wish the theme song was the show.

This season is so much better than the first! You should check out the second season. The show is finally going places. And the action is so exciting

I fricken love the theme song, and they did it justice by not over modernizing it like they did on other shows like the new Hawaii 5-0.
