Seems to me like he didn't have any good options. Stay on the island? With a bunch of murderous rebels? That's no good. How the hell are you going to get off the island now? What a deathtrap.
There were boats in one scene.
They were only about 50 miles away from where the plane eventually landed.
Looks like he's in a proposed sequel called Ship (lol), so we'll probably find out!
shareYes, I was wondering about him too. Even with the money, he’s trapped in that island filled with hostile individuals. I thought he might get on the plane, and the mercenaries might do him a favor: drop him off somewhere, and report back that he died or got lost on the island
