It will be the least watched Oscars ever, and will basically be an anti-Trump, liberal lie fest.

I actually forgot about it until I saw the news mention it this morning. Used to love it -planned parties, theme food, games, etc. It's been going downhill for a while, but last year's was the first time I turned it off before it was half over. Can't we appreciate achievements in film without the whining, pettiness, and propaganda? Tired of hearing about Trump EVERYWHERE.
Apparently many of the nominated films are overrated anyway. I only saw one this year.

i used to love the oscars and the political stuff has me turned off the 2017 oscars

I predict everyone will bring up the Syrian director who wasn't able to travel to America because of the travel ban.

if trump let all the refugees (trojan horses) in and attacks happened the media would say this never happened on obama's watch

Well, Obama is half Muslim and so he would know the good refugees from the bad. Trump would let ALL of them in. LOL
