Why are they faking the accent?
Sarah Greene and Luke Roberts are both British, so why are they using an American accent?
This is becoming more and more recurrent on TV. Same thing with Hayley Atwell (Conviction)
Americans like British accents, so it is strange when they "talk American". Also I can usually tell. They over enunciate and say things in a "rounded out" sound and pronunciation which cracks me up.
shareExactly. Americans like British accents, so let them use it. All they have to do is change a line in the script to make them from whatever country they're originally from. Just because they have an accent doesn't mean they can't be naturalized American citizens. People forget what a huge number of immigrants we continue to accept every year, more than any other country -- notwithstanding what the idiot snowflakes think.
