I had no idea they made a sequel
It would have slipped right by me if i hadn't noticed a pre-order for it on amazon while randomly looking for any good movies to buy.Looking forward to this.I really enjoyed the first movie.

shareThis is weird. The first one didn't seem like the kind of thing that could possibly need a sequel at all.
shareI think the writer's and actor's bank account is what needs the sequel. That is OK with me, I'll buy it, I got enough enjoyment from the first movie. I can't see what they can do to build a new story around, but I hope it's fun.
shareJerome Bixby barely managed to finish writing the first "Man from Earth" screenplay on his deathbed in 1998. It turns out that his son Emerson Bixby wrote this sequel. Before I learned that, I was ready to complain about people trying to cash in on Bixby's legacy third-hand, but I think it's OK since it's still in the family.
shareThe original movie filled a very interesting niche. I thought it was really wonderful. I am not sure what would have to be added or extended in this movie? It is most likely a cash in attempt since this movie was such an unexpected success. With the same characters in the same lifetime ... what more is there to say? Still, I'm looking forward to it.
