Not as bad as I expected, but it tried too hard.
The movie was pretty funny at times, but the songs were probably my least favorite part. And there were too many of them. Some of the songs were OK, but others not so much. Especially with the ridiculous lyrics (Leo singing about squirrel pee, that robot helping the boy take a poo, etc).
Not a bad movie, but it felt like it tried way too hard at times. Had this movie gotten a cinematic release, I wonder how it would have done at the box office.
Also, that substitute teacher reminded me of the crabby author from Hey Arnold. I'm talking about this one...

Especially because both of them are miserable, live alone, and despise kids. And they feel like they could never accomplish their dreams. I almost imagine them meeting in an alternate universe, lol.
