Kiss the Sky is an excellent song. That pizza must have tasted disgusting. Freakiest part of the movie for me...*Spoilers* I once heard someone say Sarah Silverman looks like an attractive rat. Snowball was such a jerk to Stuart Todd viciously baring his teeth at Copper is a powerful moment. What was up with that old lady in the apartment? The opening scene at the cemetery kind of hits close to home. Jimmy Stewart's disembodied head in the green void. New Teacher is one of my least favorite episodes. View all posts >

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. It would have been better if Jeff had been a recurring character throughout the season as Willona's partner or something like that. Maybe there could've been an episode where at the end, we see Jeff talking on the phone to someone and he says - "she doesn't suspect a thing", or something like that and then the credits roll. Leaving the viewer to realize Jeff is up to something and he's not what he seems. It would have made the eventual reveal more surprising. I know the other replies here are years old (and this isn't aimed at you), but I don't get the logic in these posts. "Rosie Donnell voices Terk of course she's female". People don't always look at or pay attention to the casting. So why is everyone here saying others are ignorant for not knowing Terk is female? Not to mention that female voice actresses don't *always* voice female characters anyway. Just like male voice actors don't always voice male characters either. I mean, heck Granny Goodness was voiced by Ed Asner in a lot of media, and even Jimmy Neutron has always been voiced by a female. The movie felt very pointless. At least in the first two movies we learn some things about the monsters. This movie...why is it even called A Quiet Place Day One? She gets knocked out right at the start and we learn absolutely nothing new. What an average movie. The movie did feel pretty redundant and a lot of it felt recycled. They could have done more with the plot and it was like watching a repeat of the first movie but instead Anxiety decides to take over. Kanga and Roo are such non-factors in the show. Sometimes I almost forget they even existed in the show. Definitely underused. Maybe the writers didn't really know what to do with them. On the other hand, it seems like Tigger and Rabbit often got the spotlight a lot. Yeah, you're right. You're not wrong...that's putting it way too nicely. If anything, you're *dead wrong*. Since you're literally just making random assumptions about how many movies a person has/hasn't seen based on them thinking a movie is sad or not. Like...do you seriously lack *that* much common sense? Yikes. Yeah, just forget it. The more people like you that continue to exist on this planet, the more I realize why Noah only let animals on the ark. If you attempt to reply back again, I won't even read a single reply. But since you've proven that you like to advertise your own stupidity, I'm sure you'll waste your own time by replying back and expecting me to read it. I give less than zero fucks. Bye. Oh, look. Yet another person who pulls this idiotic garbage. One thing I've noticed is how often this happens. Whether it's a sad movie, scary movie, a hard video game, etc. There always has to be that ONE idiot who slithers out of the woodworks and goes on to say - "You must have watched only five movies if you think this is scary" or "you clearly haven't played a lot of video games if you think this is hard" or "you've clearly only seen one movie if you think this is sad". Wow, you're the master of pure fucking originality. Screw off you desperate Internet rando. Let people have their opinions, and take your pathetic attempts at "originality" ("you clearly haven't seen a lot if you think XYZ is sad/scary/challenging') with you. How embarrassing for yourself. I know this is 11 years old, but I thought I'd comment anyway. I agree with you 100%. I've never seen the movie, but just from watching Nostalgic Critic's review, the movie looks like one of the most incoherent inane pieces of drivel I've ever seen. The bright colors in the movie actually hurt my head. The vibe of the movie actually reminds me of this.., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4SLjLen7-c The Zelda CDI cutscenes. The bullying stuff was so over-the-top. I remember sitting there in the cinema just rolling my eyes, lol. You said it perfectly. I enjoyed the movie, but I completely agree with you about how cheesy the ending scene was with the girl surviving. You describing it as a "bad TV soap opera" is pretty accurate lol. For me, the lighting and vibe of that scene actually reminded me of a few foreign sappy melodramatic Korean commercials I've seen on YouTube, lol. I'm not even kidding. View all replies >
