Is Stan against evil going to be a rip off of Ash?

its about the same.
the difference is Ash is extremely overrated .

There are no new ideas under the sun. The Evil Dead franchise is a ripoff of The Three Stooges and earlier entries into the horror/comedy genre like the Abbot and Costello Meets .... franchise. Everything is inspired by something that came earlier. The only thing that matters is if they use that inspiration to create something new and worthwhile in it's own right.

"The Evil Dead" took inspiration from "Equinox".

Said that, the entire Evil Dead franchise is about ONE DEMON - The Kandarian Demon - able to possess living beings.

The Necronomicon lists several different demons including the Eligos demon which they summoned in season 1

I actually agree with you not only is it this but it's yet another one of those Shows/Movies that are all horror all comedy with demon slaying action Throwed into it. I had no ideas that Korra was in this & the bargirl from Bizzarvark lucky for them this will get their start in pop culture.
