A really good movie, fantastic cinematography in terms of the beautiful landscapes, a sort of origin story about a man who turns out to god like/superhero powers.
Very atmospheric and reminded me cross between The Revenant (2015) in the look of the movie and brightburn (2019) in term of the storyline type.
I very recommend the movie if you like a slow burner and limited budget not a cgi megabudget run of the mill movie.
It's underrated. Too many hollwood-esque reviews I fear, but I really enjoyed this jaunt into the myth.
(the lightening cgi was impressive though!! I just wish it had been more pow before the ending!)

It's a shame there are alot of foreign movies out there that don't get the limelight because there not Hollywood or english language based movies, but sometimes just having alot of money and advertising thrown at it like WW84 doesn't make a bad film any good.
There are real gems out there done with lvoe and heart that no one thinks to watch because they get no advertisement.
Absolutely. I've found some of the best movies to be indie flicks that have had no backing.
I still remember Ink (yeah a lot of people bag it lol) but it to me, was a very well done movie with an engaging plot... the guy who made it even said "Go ahead, spread it, torrent it... " because he knew word of mouth meant something. I even sent him a small amount because of his ethics...
there is just so much fluff out there. And most of it cookie cutter standard...
