Why not cast actual cats?
I call for a boycott! Felines have rights
shareNo need for a boycott, this film has tanked on its own. Should’ve cast real cats!
shareHow about one called DOGS?
shareYou made me think of the old CATS & DOGS movies from the 2000's. Funny that they're both likely better than this one. And they had some A-list celebrities doing voices, too! Kind of amazing in retrospect for a couple of goofy talking animal movies.
shareDogs have too much attention as it is.
shareIt's harder to train them. Ever heard the expressing "like herding cats"?
shareThis movie could've easily use and train actual cats with cgi effects like with every other talking-animal kids movie out there. Lady and the Tramp (2019) being the most recent example. It would've been at least lot less jarring to look at and get taken seriously.
shareTrue and it would have redeemed my childhood fantasy of seeing a production of live cats.

those would be some talented dogs! Oscar worthy performances.
shareIt's the story of how Hollywood has always been with it's people-washing.
