Dr. Finn and Isaac

Since last week was a re-run (oooohh, I was so angry that night), and I'm hoping to God this week will have a new episode, but for now, we could focus on the most recent one.

It was a fun episode :). I knew this was eventually going to happen, because you could already see a change in the way she treated Isaac, both at the end of "Into the Fold," and in the season opener. She started treating him like the husband she never had, and the boys are starting to see him as the dad they never had.

It's also good that they addressed the barriers that Claire and Isaac also had to deal with, such as him being an artificial life form, and her being human. I was so shocked when he created a holographic, human version of himself at the dinner. The guy who voices him is cute!

Several scenes cracked me, my dad, and my brother up. Like when Claire asks Isaac to "turn the tables" a bit, and he whacks the table with the dinnerware over onto the floor xD. Then when she tells him that her statement wasn't literal, he actually resets the table! rofl!

We also nearly died laughing when the bridge officers commented on Bortus's mustache. Particularly when Lamarr said "It's fine, I just didn't know you'd joined the fire dept." rofl! That is such a stereotype! I'm amazed he didn't ask Bortus where his trusty Dalmatian was.

At least now we know that Lamarr is NOT a good go-to person when it comes to dating advice. Not sure why Isaac chose him, but it wasn't a good idea. Even worse, we now know for sure, that if you tell him and Gordon ANYTHING, the entire ship will know it in 5 minutes. And here I thought certain women were huge gossips! Silly me. In fact, Kelly actually demonstrated that she can be discreet and trustworthy when it comes to secrets among friends.

That was kinda funny when Isaac plays back what Claire said to him about breaking up, (since he literally records everything), and then Gordon says "Remind me never to say anything intimate to you." hehe

That was kinda sweet, how Isaac discovered that he had the AI equivalent of missing Claire near the end, though making it rain for real on the bridge was kind of excessive. Sweet for her, but excessive.

And, as we all learned, even with a fake human exterior, Yaphit is still an annoying slime, now figuratively as well as literally. That was interesting, seeing the voice actor who plays him, though.

I really enjoyed the episode as well. I got my biggest laugh when Lamarr and Gordon race each other to the bridge to drop their red hot gossip.
