Can someone explain the Junior Mints thing t me? I get that it referred to the Seinfeld episode, but I dont get how that told them the msg was from Isaac and that he was in the ship's computers. I mean, the whole bridge saw the Seinfeld thing.
Pretty much, I took the same amount of info as you. I found it a bit hard to believe that the captain could "join the dots" and know Isaac was in the computer.
But then, if the ship's computer sent him a very specific message about something he recently watched with everyone, and Isaac was the one who specifically had concerns about the mints scene, then I guess it might work. The mind might develop super reflexes like the body in an crisis situation!
Overall, I thought the idea of the time traveller buying antiques was a good one and see that the show is developing its own good run of ideas. The story did remind me of the film Millennium, however. Also starring a blonde time traveller who helps take doomed people from the past into the future.
I agree. Good idea on the antiques dealer, and especially liked the total un-Star Trek look of the Flying Spaghetti Monster-like alien.
I did NOT like Isaac's practical joke,,though, thought it was too creepy, although the hangy downy half-grown new leg made me go "Ew!!!" Still, too creepy and out of place IMO.
