Good movie for over an hour, and then it collapsed epically in the last act
I have trouble understanding anyone saying the whole thing was good. If you are smart enough to appreciate the first hour or 70 minutes, you are smart enough to know that the last 20 or 30 minutes are immature nonsense. But if you’re simpleminded enough to enjoy the end of the movie, I’m not sure how you could really appreciate the beginning.
So I have to assume that most people who are rating it positively overall are being generous and hoping Riley has a better editor or co-writer or something to guide him next time.
