Does Castle have super healing powers???

No hes the victim of poor writing.

I started to wonder that myself. I used to read those comics and I started to think hard about what I missed regarding his evident super-healing abilities that they displayed in this show.

I guess they wanted to portray him as someone who won't quit, no matter the adversities, but they did go a bit overboard.

Every hero in action movies has this. Its not suppose to be realistic.

He's based on a comic character and his story is set in a world where Norse gods and talking raccoons exist.

Sure, the show was a more grounded than anything else we've seen in the MCU so far, but it's not exactly meant to be 100% realistic.

If it should even be remotely realistic, he should be down for 2+ months after each episode. :P

The comics were similar. I liked to read it thinking he wasn't in the marvel universe, but at the same time I always figured he had some mild measure of super power that no one talked about.

I will say the scene where Billy shoots him in the head was going a little too far. No way he or anyone could survive that.
