Regarding the tie-in into the original Omen.

In The Omen it had been established that Damien was born of a jackal, yet this movie is saying Margaret is his birth mother. Did I miss something? Or did they just decide to change things.

A little thing that bugged me: They guy Margaret met at the club. I did not get how he knew about the 666 connected to her. Did I miss something there, too? When he was killed, it was really odd that the guy who jacked him just sat in the truck non-moving. He never got out of the truck, or never said a word.

Overall, it was a pretty decent movie. It trying to be part of an excellent movie and its sequel feels like a money-grab. I hope they don't use this as an excuse for a reboot which is disrespectful to the originals.

Yeah I thought the same about the driver and also those two workers at the start dealing with the stained glass window. Are they really just going to remain completely silent after the accident in which the glass they were handling breaks and falls everywhere down below on to 2 priests? Seems so. In fact no member of the public came out in response to the car crash either. It's like people in Rome just turn a blind eye to any deadly events that go on.

As for the man Margaret met at the club, I figure he must have been part of the cult and therefore knew about the birthmark. He was shown as a member of the group watching the consummation take place, looking upset. Perhaps he started having regrets, feeling guilty, and turned his back on the cult, ultimately leading to him getting killed by some dark force.

Thanks for your response regarding the dude at the club. Good theory/explanation because I had nothing.
