Loved this one. There are not many modern horrors I love but this one (for me) is up there with The Witch, Babadook, Kill List, House of the Devil...
Great atmosphere, many creepy scenes and an intense ending.
I am an avid horror fan and have watched a lot of crap lately....But this one stands out. Give it a watch!
Fully agree. Especially about the atmosphere...it was well shot, the forest was claustrophobic...especially the shots from when they first found the cabin.
I liked the supernatural element being based in mythology...makes it somewhat more realistic while also allowing it a kind of imaginative free reign...this was a surprisingly good movie!
