Very surprised there aren't more posts on this board. Yes, O'Connor's performance is amazing. He completely internalized the character. There's not a false moment in his performance...or a moment when you're aware he's performing. Great work by him and his co-stars.

shareIt is nothing like Brokeback Mountain. It is a movie all to itself. Josh O'Conner is amazing in this film. His acting was so flawless that it didn't even seem like he was acting. Seemed like I was watching a documentary on this guy. Very impressed.
shareThe first 30-45 minutes is a lot like Brokeback. To me the depiction of the tough farmers life is the strongest aspect.
