Awful! (SPOILERS)

This did not tell the story as written by JM Barrie at all. Wendy is never smitten with Peter and his life in Neverland; she is adversarial from the get go. All Peter and Wendy do is argue with each other. Neither Peter or Wendy are likable. This is not really the fault of the actors, their roles are written that way. Tinkerbell is never rude or obnoxious, but instead she is kind and helpful. Apparently Hook and Peter used to be best friends. Hook was Peter's first Lost Boy, and during their final battle Peter drops his sword and apologizes to Hook. And Hook survives in the end --the croc never eats him!!! The one line in the film that sums up the movie is when Hook (or is it Peter) says, "This isn't fun anymore!" (This film is never fun.) This is like horrible PETER PAN fanfiction. The 2003 live-action film is far superior; it's fun, magical, emotional, and the design is bright and colorful, with a wonderful score. If I need a Peter Pan fix, the 2003 version is where I will go.

I thought it was mediocre. Some good moments, but missing the magic and the spark it needed.

I agree. It's definitely a little tolerable than those awful remakes of Lion King and Pinocchio, that's for sure.

Just watched it last night and struggled to stay awake. The film is no fun and humorless. Not what a Peter Pan film should be.
