What in the 'Christian Television' bullshit is this crap?

From the hallmark movie vibe to the cheesy depiction of the All American Family, this all white, all straight, square AF load of crap was all kinds of lame. Only part I vibed with was the pro-organ donation storyline. Wholesome stories can pack a punch when done correctly but Christians manage to ruin everything and this came across as a load of absolute tripe. Why Jacob chose to do something so lame is beyond me. It's worlds away from the brilliance of Euphoria but maybe that was what he was striving for.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. Nobody's forcing you to see this.

It's a movie, not a TV series. If I disliked a pilot of a new TV show and then continued to complain after watching multiple episodes, then I'd see your point. But in this situation, your reply makes no sense. This isn't a negative comment on a film I haven't seen yet. I watched it, developed an opinion as it played out and then I gave it a negative review. I can't choose to unsee it.

You do realize that this movie is based on a true story? Which means almost everything in the movie is true to life, including the family, the "white" people and everything in between. Why would you expect them to invent a dysfunctional family or some black friends when that was obviously not how it was in reality? It is what it is because it's realistic and that's all there is to it.
