Better still, deep fake him onto an actor who can mimic Nicholson’s voice.
A deepfaked version of Nicholson would have been preferable to what we got, but personally I think not showing him at all and just having his voice would have been more effective. Either deepfaking or what we got with a rough lookalike is going to take you out of the movie temporarily. A decent soundalike would have sufficed and with Nicholson's distinctive voice you'd automatically know it was Jack at the bar.
