Disney has yet to make an official announcement, but the #RenewDuckTales hashtag was trending after Collider associate editor tweeted that the animated reboot is "very much done and has been done for a little while now. Not sure why Disney Channel has yet to announce this, but it’s the truth." The DuckTales reboot premiered in 2017 with its Season 3 finale airing on Monday.

“The talented creative team, led by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones, have delivered exceptional storytelling with uniquely reimagined characters for three seasons of 75 episodes and more than 15 shorts,” a Disney XD spokesperson said in a statement. “While physical production is wrapping, ‘DuckTales’ continues to be available on Disney Channels and Disney+ around the world and fans will get an epic season finale in 2021.”
The original series aired from 1987-1990 as part of The Disney Afternoon daily cartoon block, and spawned an animated theatrical release in 1990 as well.
I can't say i really care. Never cared about the horrible bloxy design and the nephew sounding like 30 something Starbucks employees. Not only didn't they sound like they should. They didn't even sound like children.
