Took too long to get going, and ended abruptly
The final section of the movie (where they go to Rochester and investigate) is well done. The scenes where they check out the house are suspenseful. The problem is that this section isn’t long enough: the movie wastes a ton of time in the beginning, talking about their company and introducing the characters.
In addition, the ending came abruptly, with everyone dying swift deaths. I don’t see why they couldn’t at least tease a happier ending: give the protagonists a fighting chance. And why exactly did Emma have to die? She just gave them a ride.
At one point, they see Tara. The film could’ve spend more time with this section, letting the characters talk to her and see her mental condition. But they rushed ahead and killed everyone so quickly
