Here we go again.

Ok dont get me wrong, it looks good but.... NBC? Just exactly what do you think their track record has been over the past 10 years with SciFi shows!? Look at journey man that barely made it to 13 episodes on NBC back in 2007 not to mention rewind that didn't even make it to series. NBC is really bad at axing brand new shows that have potential but don't allow them to gain any momentum before cancellation.

I have faith that NBC will give this show a fighting chance. It kept the brilliant Hannibal on the air in spite of abysmal ratings and gave Revolution--one of the worst TV shows in recent memory--a reprieve with a second season, even if it didn't really deserve it. So NBC is not FOX--well, not anymore. If this show were on FOX, though, I would be panicking.

IMDB, flagging ppl for bull💩 since 1995. 

Your joking right? Revolution deserve a 3rd season

Heck, I'm still sore at NBC for pulling the plug on Star Trek during the dark ages of my youth...not as sore as the whole "FOX/Firefly" scenario, mind you, but darned near.

Hoping the best for Timeless.

NBC is NOTORIOUS for not giving shows enough time to establish footing with viewers, especially SCI-Fi/Horror/Anthology - look at 'Dracula', '666 Park Avenue', and 'Fear Itself' as recent examples.

In fact, NBC's short-fuse with shows of these types extends back a ways. In the mid-80's they had a gem of a show with 'Amazing Stories', a show developed by Steven Spielberg as a place for scripts and story treatments to land that weren't big enough for a feature film, and after a stellar first season, ran it into the ground for season 2 and abruptly cancelled it. That show would have been a great asset for not only NBC, but Hollywood as well had they allowed it to keep going into a 3rd season and beyond.

10 years???? Try FIFTY!!!!

Remember, NBC is the network that killed the "golden goose" when they cancelled Star Trek TOS after 3 seasons.... AFTER they slashed the production budget to barely over $100 000 per episode.....

The new trailer proves your point. It's look slick with no substance.

Yeah, a shameless reboot of Hulu's 11.22.63.

Just NBC? Oh man. There are so many of them which seem to be killing sci-fis. There was "Rewind" series which never premiered. They killed SGA. Firefly. And so on it goes... They are going to kill this one too. Whether it is good or not. SGA couldn't be making so less that they had to cancel it. I am so terrified of investing my time in new sci-fi now and that is the genre I like most. Somebody should tell us how much money they want, really.

Journeyman wasn't cancelled because of performance. It was 100% a casualty of the writers' strike. When that was resolved and NBC was trying to salvage what was left of the season, they started cutting out all the new shows based solely on "seniority."

Journeyman was a show that just kept getting better and better , then they just let it die... really a shame. I certainly don't trust this show making it either.

The Event got cancelled too... How many times until you just give up... I'm pretty much there.

Netflix/Hulu and HBO have better shows anyways and if a network show does survive you can always just rewatch then during re-runs. Watching Network shows now compared to the old days is like gambling with 10 bucks in your pocket. Whatever that means.

This should be ignored by general audiences just like everything else NBC does.
