Here we go again.

Ok dont get me wrong, it looks good but.... NBC? Just exactly what do you think their track record has been over the past 10 years with SciFi shows!? Look at journey man that barely made it to 13 episodes on NBC back in 2007 not to mention rewind that didn't even make it to series. NBC is really bad at axing brand new shows that have potential but don't allow them to gain any momentum before cancellation.

All I know is that NBC is home to the original "V," the greatest SF miniseries of all time.

reply

Wasn't that 30 years ago?

reply

Yeah, and they canceled "V" too, as I recall. The same with Star Trek, and then they had to sit back and watch it turn into a global phenomenon in syndication.

reply

Yup! NBC and Sci-Fi time traveling... Why bother? They obviously don't know anything about hit shows when it comes to Sci-Fi and time traveling. They need to leave that stuff to the SyFy channel, they are the experts on Sci-Fi and wrasslin'! It would take NBC a 'Quantum Leap' to figure it out!

reply

NBC will cancel it after 6 shows. You heard it here first, folks.

reply

At least Revolution made it to a second season before the writing tanked the series. NBC doesn't seem to really plan for a series future. There programs seems to go no where after they are renewed.

reply

I thought the second season of Revolution was better than the first.

reply

They gave us a terrible ending. To this day I still don't get it. They had plenty of time to write out what the future would hold.

reply

Because that wasn't the ending. They had decently better ratings than even Hannibal and did not expect to get cancelled.... Look up the comic book (4 parts I believe) to see the ending. It would have made a pretty good "followup movie" had they had the backing to make it.

reply

Can you spoil me and give me an ending. I followed that series but never heard there was another ending.

reply

The Revolution comics, four in total, can be found on NBC's Revolution Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Revolution/?fref=ts

Are you kidding? It was terrible! The production values were better (finally, the characters were grunged up more and everything looked more post-apocalyptic), but the writing was awful and in some ways offensive and insulting to the audience's intelligence.

IMDB, flagging ppl for bull💩 since 1995. 

Second Season was better to me as well.

reply

Completely agree. NBC cancels just about everything that doesn't fit into a predictable "Detective" or "Medical" drama category.

reply

NBC seems to like Eric Kripke. They gave his last show Revolution more than a fair shot. I see this one lasting at least one season...

--How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I thought the same thing as soon as I saw it was NBC. Why is it that they can't seem to keep a good time travel show on the air? Quantum Leap was possibly the best, but every year the ratings went down. Journeyman was ahead of its time. Timeless looks good and I hope it works, but the suits at NBC need to give it a chance.

bluebird, I hear you and I feel you!

I loved Journeyman. I completely know what you mean.
