Frankly, who chooses to go and see a movie based on the title, and makes and assumption over what they think it's about?
Especially these days when people can look up info, trailers, reviews etc on their phone in seconds.
For example, what did people think Magnolia was about? You would have no clue unless you read something about it.
For many years now movie titles have largely ceased to be descriptive...in 40s and 50s etc you could still have titles like Creature From The Black Lagoon. No ambiguity there.
A recent example was Snakes On A Plane. But that was a silly movie sold on the title alone...and Sam Jackson being...Sam Jackson.
People should do a little research, and not expect film titles to allude to the subject of the movie. And they should not get butt hurt when they make wrong assumptions...you take away from a movie what you bring to it.
