Filming of "Wind River," directed by Taylor Sheridan and produced by Matthew George and Elizabeth Bell, is scheduled to begin Feb. 22 and last 60 days, employing a cast of 15 and crew of 120, with 180 extras. The show stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.

"Breathtaking scenery" was part of the reason Utah was selected for the filming over New Mexico and Calgary, Sheridan said.

But there were practical reasons as well, he added, citing "the impressive Park City Studios and their proximity to mountain locations and a large pool of talented crew."

I’m going to go do that in, like, a week,” Lizzie shared with WWD about her new project, Wind River.
She added, “Jeremy Renner and I will be in Park City shooting it. It’s about, basically, federal versus reservation law, as well as trying to solve a mystery of a girl who died on the reservation. The reservation actually has its own film fund and they’ve given us their stamp of approval, so hopefully it’s relevant.”

There's no question but that "Wind River" was beautifully photographed. Jeremy Renner was super in that film, as well.
So was Elizabeth Olsen, and the other woman.

The credits said some of this was shot in Louisiana. I think at least one tribe involved was also in La.

I sure didn't catch THAT!
