Despite the distractingly low budget nature of the show, i'm enjoying it. But there's no story! Some terrorists want to blow shit up and... CTU is sort of trying to stop them. I guess. This is paper thin plot material here. Revolving door of bad guys with no character development beyond having a grudge or crossing paths once before. Lot of fans complained about the drama filled sub plots of the Presidents in the original show, but Jeeze, at least it gave the show some substance. Angry brothers and my dad is a dick ain't cutting it. We got this other rogue guy running around. What's his story? Who knows. 24 used to be great at developing the second gun characters and giving them shit to do while Jack wasted forty minutes driving across town. This show is a half assed box checking mess. But it could be good. Lots to work with and build on.
