Why can't we have white people in programs we have all enjoyed in the past?
Broadcast TV is looking like this country is in Africa.
What next Gunsmoke with blacks? Miss Kitty as a black woman?
Don't think it's a Racial Thing, it's more of a Politically Correct thing. It's like British TV (Dr. Who) where they feature Minorities & Gays heavily in the story lines.
Not saying it's good or it's bad, it's just seems like TV is getting more PC and they want to make sure all races/sex preferences are represented.
I "cut the cord" a couple years ago and started watching a lot of broadcast television after being away from it for about twenty years and was shocked how black it has become. Fox especially. It's almost all black content, from the endless court programs that air during daytime, to a lot of the programming now in primetime. And the bonus channels they carry, one of them is "Bounce" which is basically BET. Exclusive black content shows and movies only. Anyhow, I mostly watch CBS which is mostly still shows for older white people. There seems to be something for everybody. If that's what sells, so be it. I'm still powering through this Stargate DVD collection, I don't care what they air and for who.

I don't really care about an actor's race, as long as they are good it's really a non-issue.
i do have a problem with picking actors by race instead of just who is the best for the role.
they clearly just went "we want a black guy first, good actor second"
