This idea of ripping off the police for two million dollars...
Is beyond juvenile. Is this the best they could think up?
shareIs beyond juvenile. Is this the best they could think up?
shareYeah, I rolled my eyes at that one - but then I remembered that there were plenty of preposterous story lines in the old 24 as well.
Beyond ridiculous.
shareUnfortunately there many ridiculous staple on the original.
Mole in CTU
Agent going rogue and committing crimes in pursuit of his goals
Agent acting for a criminal under duress of a loved one's life in danger
Half a dozen people betraying somebody each season
People bring tortured always telling Hack the truth
CTU members never confiding in their partners or fellow workers
Just to name a few
why is the $2 mil money thing even Carter's problem anyways? he's already blown and should be looking to lie low somewhere with his gf or whatever. if this grimes guy was dealing directly with the Feds that storyline would make more sense but it's like he's extorting carter for the money.
shareHe feels responsible for the deaths' of his team members and their families. The dude trying to sell the list was showing signs that he was compromised before even going on the mission where he stole the lock box.
shareProducers of this must be getting tired of fans being do warned how horrible a show or movie is.
This is beyond ridiculous. The funniest scene ever was when they showed a cop as being racist for thinking our protagonist is acting suspicious. Only to find him later strapping a bomb onto to said cop and forcing him to walk into a polic precinct wearing it.
Was 24 always this stupid?
No.
shareYeah this plotline is already hilariously bad.
shareJuvenile?
shareI didn't think it was that bad but yeah why not just try and rob a bank then? I dont know how much cash most banks carry but it has to be a 100 times saner and easier instead of stealing from cops.
