Was 24 Always this Stupid!

This is beyond bad. Currently running a 5.4. Extremely generous.

Two shows in and:

The director of the CTU is already tazed and locked down white no questions about where he is?
Protagonist beaks in a police station to give to his junky friend, who states will give aid and comfort to terrorists, $2,000,000.
A candidate for President's Campaign Chief is a terrorist.

We waited almost 5 years for this and this is what ethy came up with? Where did they get these writers a Saturday Morning Cartoon Show? What a disappointment.

This is why IMDB is cancelling the message boards, so we can't worn people about shows like this.

Yeah even by 24 standards this is too unrealistic (and that's saying something)... even more frantic, whack-a-mole nonsense included.

I blame the media-blamers

reply

The previous 24 series never had this craptastic writing. It's just awful.

reply

Take the red tinted glasses off. It's always Been stupid

reply

Yes. It's an incredibly stupid show, always has been. Mean that in the best way possible

reply

No it wasn't please go back and watch. While yes the plots were ridiculous and boring nobody watched for the plots lol. We all watched for the characters mainly Jack Bauer and Chloe. I suggest you stick with the original run because at least then you will be entertained by good characters.

reply

The original 24 was just as stupid, just not as stupid as quickly because this new season (and the previous one) only has 12 episodes instead of 24. So they only have half the time to cram in all the ridiculous plots.

reply

This new show is really badly written and acted. It is terrible.

reply

Yes, it was always like this. The difference was in 24 episode format, so the plot could be dragged out. Now, since it's 12 episode format, everything is more rushed. But it's the same 24 as it was. Just rushed. I like it.

In vino veritas

reply

24 definitely had its fair share of stupid moments. The thing is, it was so awesome you just went with it.

<Goodbye friends. This community was the best thing ever.>

reply

Blame the current showrunners, they're the ones who are ruining the series. They have a history of ruining characters such as Tony Almeida and more.

That 24 Legacy is such a huge flop, is no surprise to me.
