Well, I certainly didn't see that coming (spoiler)

I see some hate for this movie. Either you love the twist or you don't, but I thought it was pretty damn good. Especially when you consider the not-so-good horror movies you find on Netflix. This was one of their better ones.

P.S. Eli's constant yelling and whining was hard to bear. By the time we got to Dr. Horn trying to impale him, I was all for it.

Just finished watching it. I agree with you. I can see how there could be some people who don't like it because the twist lead into a pretty different ending, but I liked it.
I've found that some Netflix originals can be really good and some absolute garbage. That movie Open House was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Eli, on the other hand, was pretty fun to watch.

I agree with you although I am on the other side. I was really enjoying this up until the end and was expecting a much better twist. I thought the acting up until demon boy appears was superb. I would still recommend people watch this if you're a fan of the genre. 6/10 for me.

The acting is superb. That kid is incredible. Everyone is. The last twenty minutes when Eli's cuffed to the table, I thought 'ok, this is now getting ridiculous'. Really good, tension-filled up until then. But as the credits roll now, I do like it. It was a nice touch with the girl from the window being a half-sister and the last scene where mom becomes son and vice versa with the breathe thing. Yea, it wasn't where I expected it was going but in the end I liked the twist. The effects were well-done and I also thought it was ripe for a sequel: two spawns of Satan, one mom and their adventures - well, wherever.
