Best Manson performance by far. Even better than Steve Railsback in the 1976 Helter Skelter miniseries. He made Jeremy Davies in the 2004 version look like an SNL skit. If only someone would remake the Manson story starring Herriman. He deserves a full film devoted to his portrayal.

There is a new movie about Manson that came out last year called Charlie Says starring Matt Smith (from Doctor Who) who is 182 cm tall.
I haven’t seen his portrayal, maybe he was good in it (although the movie is rated 5.7 on IMDb), but at first glance he seems miscast.
He was great here as Manson but Railsback was amazing and the best Manson.

Best Manson performance to date
This is how good he is...I am familiar with his acting from Justified, Once Upon a Time and from Secret City (as a man transitioning to a woman!) and while watching Mindhunter, I missed it was him.......I have to go back and watch that sequence again...
