How it ends
Dully...
shareSo How DID it end? What was the disaster. The neighbors explanation seemed more like a theory.
shareIt's just more bullshit content that uses a little CGI and some fuzzy, ill-defined crisis as a driver for drama.
I enjoyed it, though my opinion is biased since I love apocalyptic shit.
shareI didn't dislike it on the whole, the road trip adventures added enough action/variety to keep me going.
That being said, I'm super tired of sci-fi/apocalypse used as a crutch for something's that really more of a character drama. I feel like I've seen one too many films/series where the sci-fi/apocalypse is an interesting concept, but never goes anywhere and all I do is watch the characters bitch at each other.
I hear ya. I despise big budget Hollywood disaster flicks. A good example would be Geostorm. What a pile of crap that was.
shareAlmost seemed like a combination of different cataclysms all mixed together, no definite answer.
shareIt just ended. It was dumb. Everything they showed pretty much screamed nuke.
But somehow no radiation no nothing? They are perfectly fine.
Also why are they not telling people what happened? Again makes no sense. Nuke or otherwise they aren’t covering it up they are telling people.
Was just a really dumb movie. They wanted to end it on a cliffhanger to hopefully draw people in so they can make a sequel.
Stupid movie.
Admittly I’m a bit harsher because I have just had bad movie after bad movie today with the real shot show always being the ending.
I was on board for the journey, but yes, the ending had a very abrupt "we're running out of budget in 3...2...1...Ok, that's a wrap" kind of feel to it. It was definitely a very strange moment to end the movie, or at the very least it didn't feel executed well enough to end at that moment.
shareIt ends perfectly fine - remember folks, the Apocalypse will not be televised.
shareI just rewatched it and am wondering once again what the hell happened??
Not a nuke, not a tsunami, so I'm thinking something geological like a pole shift, especially because of the scene with the northern lights so far south.
It was a volcano - probably Mt. Ranier. That pyroclastic flow was the giveaway.
shareI liked it! I also enjoyed the ending. No need to lay everything out for you.
