Three things to take away from this.

One, you actually think, even hope, that Trump will become president. If he were Pinocchio his nose would be brushing up against the new planet discovered orbiting Proxima Centauri.

Two, you have no problem with the idea of a president whose control of the media extends so far that even things as inconsequential as a Van Helsing TV show on SyFy will be altered to cater to his every demand.

Three, you've managed to prove that you and those of your ilk really don't care about artistic expression and innovation at all, despite commonly using that as an excuse for your bigotry, and wouldn't mind at all if such things were taken away so long as the end result is pandering to your own warped priorities.

You DO know there have been very good and successful female Van Helsings in the past, right? Most successfully being Integra in the anime Hellsng.

You are a misogynist. The Ghostbusters remake isn't bad because it's female, that, unfortunately is what the marketing fixated on and made it political. What hurt Ghostbusters was the out-dated and neon CG and obnoxious slapstick comedy and idiot humor (where the punchline is "hehe, this guy is that stupid. Hehe.") Blame the tired old jokes, not the genders.
