Season 2 won't arrive until sometime in 2021 and they are planning 7 seasons. I'm not waiting 10 years for the end of the story. Frankly, I'm starting to get sick of all series for this reason.

Besides that, the original plan was going full woke. To avoid backlash, the downgraded the ideological side... in the first season.

Probably they'll go full woke in a later season (If I had to bet, I'd say the 3rd one), once they've captured their audience.

No, they're hoping for seven seasons because that's how long it would take to run through all the source material. Unlike GoT their plans don't seem to extend beyond it (wise choice). What do you expect as far as timing? Quite a lot of post production on a show like this. They can only go so fast. Wait till it's over and binge it, then you can see the whole thing without taking a pause.
