What’s with the lopsided uniforms (S4)

One side slightly longer than the other. It looks like they’ve missed a button hole and done it up incorrectly.

The proper word would be an asymmetric design. It is unusual, especially on a military uniform. (Yes, Star Fleet isn't military. nudge nudge). I haven't seen the actual design drawings or patterns to see exactly how they are put together. I think they are attempting to do something a bit different.

“asymmetric design”, lopsided - potato, potaato 😉

I prefer to use correct language. Asymmetric design is the term used by fashion designers. Lopsided is not. Lopsided has an implication of clumsiness which does not exist in asymmetry.

I’m not a fashion designer - to me it looks lopsided 🤷‍♂️

And you have every right to your opinion, in that you don't like it. (I haven't decided if I do or not, yet.) But it is always desirable to use the correct terms if possible, whether you are in a particular field or not.

I don’t like the asymmetric design because it looks…you know…

At least they don’t have their pants half-way down their asses or rips n’ tears in them.

reply

There is that.
