I am glad i am not watching this show
Seems like a caricature of the original movies, with one of those damned Wayans brothers starring..

sharei am also glad that you are not watching this show
I'm not gonna twist your leg, but the adaptation is really well done and you're missing out.
shareInteresting. What other shows do you like, just so I have a frame of reference of your taste. This looked like network crap to me, but I've been wrong before.
shareRight now? I'm watching The Flash - which is okay, but not amazing. Mostly I'm fishing for new shows to watch. Tried the show Eyecandy, which had a great opening, but as a whole was pretty meh. Is Counterpart out yet - really anticipating that. Yeah I've fallen behind in my viewing.
sharearrow is a girl show
So you haven't given it a chance? Well maybe later. For now you seem a bit mopey.
shareyou are missing out its a really fun show.
shareThe first season is quite good imo. But it's feeling more and more played out midway through season two.
shareI'm getting tired of these networks making TV adaptations of popular movies because they can't come up with anything original. Same with reboots of earlier shows.
Remember the short-lived "Uncle Buck" (2016) series? It was based on the movie from 1989 starring John Candy. They took what was completely lovable about the film and ran it into the ground. I'm sure making the main character a black guy probably didn't help (not that I'm a racist, just seems obvious ABC was trying to stir things up by having Mike Epps play Buck Russell).
Perhaps "Lethal Weapon" (2016 - Present) is actually good, but Riggs and Murtaugh will always be Gibson and Glover to me.
