What a goofy premise... and completely illogical plot.
Man proves an afterlife! What's the proof? Some brain waves leave the body. Where do they go? No one knows, therefore it must be another plane of existence! I mean, that logic obviously follows right? If something disappears, it must be in another plane of existence, not this one and definitely not just gone completely. What?
Man learns how to record memories from dead people. Obviously these memories are from another plane of existence! It can't just be the dreams of a dying brain, or corrupted memories from this plane of existence, there has to be an afterlife dammit! Most of the population agrees with this nigh irrefutable logic.
It's like the movie is trolling me.
