Do we buy office jim
As this guy
shareNo. Not me. But i've watched the Office a LOT. That's a show I watched all the way through over and over and over again. And casting Greer with an actor who looks and behaves just like Stanley didn't help!
shareHave only ever seen clips of The Office and I do buy him as this "guy". Especially when you consider the "guy" is half a beta-male cuck.
Beta-Male Cuck might be a little too strong I guess. Let's call him Presentation Trophy Naive. At one point he seems to think that he can fight terrorists with more hugs then he is shooting them.
Regardless I still like the character most of the time.
Exactly. I want to see him takin out suckas like tech 9! Blamo! Here is something for you you bad guy! How about I hit you with my gun then shut up your face blamo! But your sayin hes huggin guys instead of ruling ass!
shareNope. Liked him in "A Quiet Place", but I don't buy him as the CIA agent type.
After a couple episodes, I was hoping Jack Bauer would show up instead.
No, no we do not. 😒
Actually, I did!
shareWas he this big scary mean kickpunching guy that would shoot you in your baddie face then take down other big ol baddies?
shareWell, he didn't look like he would just walk up to someone and punch them, but if I saw someone that looked like that and I was the punchee, I'd see it coming and LOOK BUSY. Not so much with Krasinski.
shareSo is he actually like a good looking rogue rebel from the anti terrorist unit who will REALLY sum up your fears?
shareHA!!! Add "with a sensitive side" and you're spot on!
shareSo he really carries over the soft Jim side that made Pam fall in love with him, but then adds to it kickpunching faces of the big old baddies as well as blamo you won't be terroizing this anymore because I kick your private parts
sharePretty much. And it works...kinda sexy, actually. Didn't like Chris Pine's Jack Ryan AT ALL.
shareDon’t think it’s going to work. His style is nice guy goofyness. Also he’s neither rugged or handsome enough to be an action hero.
shareWhy does Jack Ryan have to be rugged? It's been a while since I've read one of the books, but just because he was a marine it doesn't mean that he is the "action star". He was an analyst and a thinker. I think John Clark/Kelly is more of the man of action.
