Yup, cash grab playing it fast and loose. So plenty of action and not much of a story. This will make a nice stream. Cinema? Not so much.

Oh, my expectations are fairly low but I'm definitely going to check it out on the big screen.

Taylor Sheridan has not done me wrong yet. I haven't LOVED everything he's written, but I've certainly liked it all. Sicario, Wind River, Hell or High Water, Yellowstone.

With a track record like that, I have to have faith.

It’s by no means receiving the same acclaim as the original (to no one’s surprise) but the reviews are - as of yet - pretty solid. It seems like the film works for what it is. Even so, the film is bound to end up with a mixed reception.

Good, mixed, negative reviews — I would still be looking forward to it.

If you really loved the first Sicario, this will be a pretty big disappointment. Basically high on action, low on story.

Metascore 61 from 22 critics. One (of 5) positive review on imdb.

I liked the first one, particularly Benicio Del Toro. SO they got him back with Brolin, so if it is at all good I think I will be happy.
